Shipping & Customs Policy
At PSO Pop-Up Store, we operate on a print-on-demand model. Your products are manufactured and shipped directly by our partner print providers located in the European Union and worldwide.
1. Shipping Rates & Delivery Times
Shipping rates and delivery estimates are calculated automatically at checkout based on the total weight of your order and the destination country. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number.
2. Customs Duties, Taxes, and Fees (Customer's Responsibility)
Because our products are shipped from international facilities, all orders delivered to Switzerland or outside the European Union may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and handling fees levied by the shipping carrier (Swiss Post, DHL, FedEx, etc.).
These additional charges are not included in the sale price or the shipping fees paid on our website. They are entirely the responsibility of the customer and must be paid directly to the carrier upon or prior to delivery.
🇨🇭 Switzerland Focus: When do these fees apply?
In Switzerland, customs authorities apply VAT and processing fees based on the following rules:
  • Swiss VAT (8.1%): This is calculated on the total value of the shipment (including shipping costs). Swiss customs do not collect VAT if the calculated tax amount is less than 5.00 CHF.
  • Tax-Free Threshold: In practice, you will generally pay no taxes or duties if the total value of your package (goods + shipping) is under approximately 60.00 CHF.
  • Carrier Handling Fees: If your package exceeds this 60.00 CHF threshold, the carrier (such as Swiss Post) will advance the customs fees on your behalf and charge you a "customs clearance fee" or "presentation fee" (typically between 11.50 CHF and 19.00 CHF, plus a small percentage of the package's value).
  • Tips for Our Swiss Customers :
To avoid unexpected charges upon the arrival of your package, we highly recommend the following steps:
  1. Split Large Orders: If you plan to purchase multiple items, it is often more cost-effective to place two separate, smaller orders a few days apart. If each individual package stays below the 60.00 CHF mark, you will avoid customs duties and carrier processing fees entirely.
  2. Track Your Shipment: Keep an eye on your package using the tracking link provided in your shipping email. If fees are due, Swiss Post sometimes allows you to pay them online in advance to streamline delivery.
  3. Check Official Rates: You can estimate potential charges by visiting the official website of the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS).
